she missed last year because she was sick and was so depressed about it for a month after because of the guilt her stupid family laid upon my poor darling.

last night she was visiting her dad (the only one who didn't guilt her) and he asked if she was going to go this year.

here lately, i have just been wishing that i could just fast-forward through my remaining years on earth and just die to get this nonsense all over with.. i have only myself to blame.

if i had gone through with my attempt to leave this hokey religion about sixteen years ago when i attempted to--before i got married and had kids--then maybe i wouldn't be teetering on the very slippery edge of sanity.

instead i punked out, buckled under the threats of shunning and guilt of abandoning family members, and so here i am--looking into the mirror every morning wondering when the nightmare is going to end.

sorry your having a hard time. do you have a meeting tonite? if so, your not looking well. nothing like a night off to make you feel better. you can't lead people to where they don't wanna go. or you would be a happy camper. try and talk to your wife, eaiser said than done, but you never know. think of how much better a husband you could be with this weight off of you. you cant change what people think, but you will feel like a new man for sure.

yesterday my wife left the watchtower out for me to read the lesson which i still do to show that i'm not close minded.

at the end of the article, there was another small article about gods name.

(an mp3 of the article can be found here http://www.jw.org/index.html?option=qryqzrqvnznt) in this article it speaks of a catholic cardinal who gave a sermon where he used the latin spelling of the divine name and said that it was definitely gods name.

Where is the Watchtower Food Bank?

so, my jw wife and i are having breakfast at our favorite restaraunt this morning and i mention that my workplace has a food bank to help homeless and needy families with meals.

our waitress cuts in and says she has some food that she would like to donate and asked if i could take them for her.

i agreed.

if you were buying a car and the salesman told you, "listen, there are a lot of bad things being said about this car on the internet.

but take my word for it, this is a good car.

whatever you do, don't check out what's being said online", would you follow his instructions?

guy knocks on your door to sell u a car, but i,m happy with my old car. no your not..your car is bad and will cause you to die in a terrible accident. if you by this car it will be the last car you ever buy. although many have bought the car and it sucked... don't talk to them and don't ask any question about the car except from the salesman. if the salesman said something about the car last year it may or may not still be true. so only believe what he says currently. if you see this car broken down on the street don't ask the person whose stuck what they think. its not the cars fault its the driver. always the drivers. and once you buy this car and decide you don't like it.. too bad.. your stuck or we will take your family and friends away from you..
